An End to Restless Legs
I don’t know about you, but some nights when all I want to do is go to sleep, my legs are so restless and jumping which inhibits me from being able to go to sleep. I discovered magnesium lotion when I was pregnant with my second baby and boy does it help! I put a pea sized amount and rub on one of my legs and it makes the crawling feeling go away. Earthley is small business that is continually expanding it’s production and products that it offers. This specific product, the Good Night Magnesium Lotion, was one of my first purchases from them as I needed relief for my restless legs.
This lotion comes in a circular container with a top that twists on and off. You have the choice of either 4oz or 8oz and the scents vary from regular, sensitive, to a seasonal scent. It is a white color and soaks in quickly. They formulate this product without the use of parabens, artificial fragrance, preservatives, allergens, and parabens.
They also boast that they are non-GMO, made in USA and vegan! This product is also cruelty free and the company is Leaping Bunny certified.
Pros & Cons
As usual, I like to start with the cons to get that out of the way.
I’m not sure if all of the lotions are like this, but it seemed like there were hard small pieces in the lotion. I would imagine that was the magnesium flakes that they add into it and it gave it almost an exfoliating texture. Maybe this was because mine was old or not mixed properly? Maybe it was because I purchased it when the company was still relatively new and they were working on a better formulation? Either way, to get around this, I would make sure not to rub it in too hard to prevent hurting my skin.
On the brightside, I feel that this tremedously benefited my health. If I had a night where my legs were restless and I felt like I couldn’t stop moving them, all I had to do was grab a small amount of this lotion, rub it in, and wait. Within 15 minutes or so my legs would stop being restless and I felt more calm. It’s a miracle worker in my opinion and it saved my life from the frustration of not being able to sleep.

This lotion ranges from $8.99 to $15.99. You can choose the size lotion that you want and the scent. Both of those factors dictate the price. I recommend starting out with the smaller size to make sure it works for you and that you like the formulation. That way, if you end up don’t liking it, you’re not out as much.

I give this product a 9/10. I feel nothing is completely perfect to get that 10/10 from me. The only issue I had with this lotion is the texture being a bit too rough for my liking. Plus, the benefits I obtained with this far outweighed the rough bits inside of it.
